Financial donations are critical to the Conservancy for Charles County as they provide the essential financial foundation that enables the organization to fulfill its mission of protecting scenic, natural, forest, agricultural, rural, and historic areas of Charles County, Maryland.

As an all-volunteer, community-based nonprofit land trust operating exclusively in Charles County, the Conservancy relies heavily on donated funds to support its diverse conservation programs. These donations directly fund vital operations including stewardship program expenses, legal fees for conservation easement enforcement, Land Trust Alliance membership, insurance coverage, office rent, and administrative costs necessary to maintain the organization’s effectiveness.

Dues and contributions are tax deductible.  The Conservancy is listed as a 501©3 nonprofit organization with the State of Maryland.
