How You Can Help

Many opportunities are available to help the Conservancy protect Charles County's landscapes.
  • Save your land. If you own land that is farmed, lies in an important watershed, is forested or has other valuable natural resources, adjoins or is near an already protected area, or possesses historic value, you may be able to preserve it permanently with a conservation easement. Contact us to learn about the benefits.
  • Become a giver. Generous support from the public is critical for the Conservancy's important work. Download the contributor form here. You can fax it to us choosing the contribution you would like to make and we will bill you. Or, mail the form along with your check.
  • Become a member. Only $25 a year allows you to join a growing circle of people who appreciate the importance of land conservation. Use the contributor form to join.
  • Volunteer. The Conservancy has a growing need for volunteers. If you like to be outdoors, like to write, take photographs, help plan events, or keep records, let us know. Download the contributor form to see how to volunteer.
  • Tell others about land preservation. You can help spread the word about opportunities to help keep Charles County green. Encourage friends, neighbors, colleagues to support the Conservancy's work.
The contributor form is an Acrobat (PDF) file. If necessary, you may download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader here.
